Banana Milkshakes
(see photo insert)

Our personal late night treat! We like our milky shakes thick!

Fresh very RIPE bananas (1 or 2) CHOP in blender first. Add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream, 6 ice cubes, light dashes of milk, 2 spoonfuls of sugar (only if you were making them for Jeff lol) I don't put in any sugar. Blend on high but not for too long because it gets watery.

~ Maria "I personally like to drink mine out of a mason jar with no straw. Buba's usually ends up all over the kitchen. lol"

Banana Crunch Smoothie
(see photo insert)

1 banana
1 cup milk (I use Almond milk)
2 pkts Splenda or 2 Tbs. of honey
3 ice cubes
1/2 cup granola

Blend milk, banana and sweetener. While blender is running add ice cubes one at a time. Blend 2 minutes. Crush the cereal or leave whole, then add to the smoothie right before eating. Eat with a spoon.

~ Val "I've use different kinds of cereal for this. I especially like Fiber One 80 cereal or Honey Bunches of Oats."
