Pecan Pralines
I tried to find a recipe similar to the ones Mom used to make when we lived in Florida.

2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup evaporated milk
2 cups pecan pieces and halves
2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons chilled butter, cut in pieces

Combine sugar, milk, and water in a 2-quart saucepan; heat to boiling stirring constantly. Cook until mixture reaches soft ball consistency (235).Remove from heat; stir in pecans, vanilla, and butter. Immediately drop by tablespoons onto wax paper & let cool.

Chocolate Covered Marshmallows
1 bag large marshmallows
1 bag of chocolate wafers
1 bag of white chocolate wafers

Melt half the bag of chocolate and half the bag of white wafers together in a microwave safe bowl on medium till melted stir halfway to blend. Remove from microwave and dip the marshmallows one at a time, put on an aluminum lined large plate. I put in the frig till the chocolate is set. Thats it! Since there is a difference in microwave ovens I can't give you a time to melt the choc. But don't do it too long just till you see it has melted and is thinned.

Nut Stuffed Dates

Make a slice down one side, and remove the pit from each date if not already bought that way. Place either a toasted almond, toasted pecan half or walnut half inside where the pit was. Fold the date back over the nut and squeeze it a little to help hold the nut. Roll each in powdered sugar or granulated sugar. Set on a serving tray.
