Autumn Soup

1 pound ground beef
1 cup chopped onion
3 cups water
1 cup cut up carrots
1 cup diced celery
1 cup cubed potatoes
2 tsp. salt and 1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp. bottled Brown Bouquet Sauce (in spice dept)
1 bay leaf
1/8 tsp. basil
1 28 oz can of diced tomatoes with liquid

In large saucepan, cook & stir meat until brown. Drain off fat. Cook & stir onions with meat until onions are tender, about 5 minutes. Stir in remaining ingredients & heat to boiling. Reduce heat, cover; simmer 20 - 25 minutes. Remove bay leaf before serving. The canned tomatoes break apart and give a rosy color.

5 Can Soup

1 Can Progresso Minestrone Soup
1 Can corn (with liquid)
1 Can chopped or diced tomatoes (with liquid)
1 Can mixed vegetables (with liquid)
1 Can beans (any kind, I like cannelini or kidney) drained

Put it all in a pot, bring to a boil and turn off the heat. done. I also added 1 can of beef broth to make it soupier. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan when you serve it
