Strawberry-Banana Smoothie

1 cup Almond Milk (can use any milk or yogurt)
1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
2 pkts Splenda
1 frozen banana (let set out of freezer for 10 min then cut into slices before adding)
5 frozen strawberries

Put milk, vanilla and Splenda in the blender and turn on blender to Highest speed. Carefully lift lid a bit and toss in the banana slices, one at a time. Then toss in the strawberries one at a time waiting a few seconds between each. Let blender run another 1 minute & serve.

~ Val "This is my favorite smoothie and I have it for breakfast a few times a week. If I don't have it for breakfast I'll sometimes have it for a snack at night. I also like to throw in some fiber. I use Glucomannon capsules and just open one or two up and add to shake, but you could use any fiber supplement, like Psyllium husks or Metamucil Clear."
