Swiss Steak

Preheat oven 300 degrees
1 1/2 lb Round Steak
1/4 c. flour (salt and pepper if you like)
3 Tab. Oil
1 Large Onion (Sliced)
1 Rib of Celery (sliced)
1/2 lb. Fresh Mushrooms
1 clove minced Garlic
8 oz can Stewed Tomatoes
1/4 tsp Basil, Oregano and Thyme

Cut Round Steak into serving sizes. Pound Flour into steaks. Fry over Med-High heat until Brown. In drippings Fry: Onion, Celery, Mushrooms and Garlic. Mix in tomatoes and spices. Place Steaks in baking dish. Pour mixture over steaks. Cover tightly with foil and Bake at 300 degrees 1 to 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
